Far Brook’s Junior High students traveled to Quebec for four days in March to be immersed in French Canadian culture and to practice their French language skills. While there, they met their Canadian pen pals with whom they have been corresponding this year at Academie Ste. Marie, ate a breakfast of French delicacies at the famous Chateau Frontenac hotel, went curling and snow tubing, ordered meals in French, learned about Quebec City’s history and landmarks, and about the Huron nation’s culture and history.
