Junior High Wilderness Trip
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.

Emily Brontë wrote this as if she had attended our Junior High Wilderness Trip. Last week, the Junior High students and faculty occupied Pok-o-MacCready Outdoor Education Center in the Adirondack mountains of New York for five days of experiential learning.

We lived more simply, challenged ourselves physically and mentally, and bonded the two grades more closely. The week was spent hiking mountains, fishing, rock climbing, canoeing the Ausable River, writing, gazing at stars, watching the sun rise over Lake Champlain, observing nature, and doing lots of other incredible things.
