Far Brook’s chapter of Girls Learn International (GLI) held a film screening of the soon-to-be-released Shine Global documentary Inocente on Friday, March 30. More than 80 Far Brook community members turned out to learn more about the subject of homelessness and to raise funds in support of our GLI chapter’s sister school in Pakistan. Executive Producer of the film Dr. Susan MacLaury answered questions about the film’s development and its captivating star, Inocente. Tia Aery, Executive Director of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Essex County (IHN), also answered questions about homelessness, and introduced several IHN guests to the conversation.
