Lower School Director, Paula Levin, and Deborah Costa, our Educational Technology Specialist, will host a coffee and conversation for Third Grade parents on Tuesday, March 22, at 7:45 am in the Old Library. Please RSVP to dcosta@farbrook.org if you plan on attending.

Upper School Families: Cyber Safety with Detective Ed
Wednesday, March 30, 7:00 pm, Moore Hall

Detective Ed de la Fuente of the Millburn Police Department will speak to Upper School Families (Grades 4-8) about Internet Safety. This year, Det. Ed will again speak with our Upper School students about staying safe and making smart choices online. Continuing this important conversation at home is essential in helping our children navigate the digital world. We invite all Upper School families to participate in the learning and sharing of ideas with Det. Ed on Wednesday, March 30, 7:00 pm. Please RSVP to our educational technology specialist Deborah Costa.

GLI Film Screening - Salam Neighbor
Friday, April 29, 7:00 PM, Moore Hall

Far Brook's chapter of Girls Learn International (GLI) will host a screening of Salam Neighbor, a film by the producers of Living on One Dollar, which was screened last year. As the first filmmakers allowed by the United Nations to register and set-up a tent inside a refugee camp, Zach and Chris plunge into the heart of the world's most pressing humanitarian crisis.

“This feature length film was created to help tell the stories of our refugee neighbors with the dignity they deserve and the depth the world needs. There is only one way forward if we want long-term peace; we must start treating refugees, not as a burden, but as our neighbors.”

Please support GLI and join us for this important film. Click this link to purchase tickets.

Request from the Nursery
Cardboard tubes

Nursery would very much appreciate any larger-size cardboard tubes (from paper towel rolls or gift wrap, for example), for a musical project they are about to start. Thank you!
