Far Brook News
Far Brook's First Grade recently combined art with self-awareness in a project called Inside/Outside Me. For their "outside me," students painted a watercolor likeness of themselves on workable acetate. Then they were asked to think about their "inside me" - what are their wishes, hopes, and dreams? - and represent their "inside me" in oil pastels on canvas board. The two perspectives are merged for the final artwork, on display now in the lobby of the Music & Arts Building.
