The parent questionnaire portion of the application is due Friday, December 12, 2025. Applications will be accepted after that date on a rolling basis if space is available. The $100 application fee is waived if the application is submitted by November 10, 2025. Application fee discounts are available after November 10th for families who qualify. Please contact Emi Ithen, Director of Enrollment Management, to request a fee discount.

Families applying for Tuition Assistance must submit their application and supporting documents through Clarity.

Parents must send Far Brook’s teacher recommendation form through the application portal after their admissions application has been submitted. These are required for all grades with the exception of Nursery 3 or Nursery 4 applicants who have not yet attended school or daycare.

All Nursery 3, Nursery 4, and Kindergarten applicants attend a playgroup at Far Brook as part of the admissions process.  

Kindergarten applicants will participate in a brief individual assessment during their scheduled playgroup.

All playgroup visits can be scheduled through the parent portal once you have submitted your child’s application.

Parents can schedule their 30-minute parent meeting (either virtual or in-person) through the checklist in the parent portal. Please note: parents of applicant siblings only need to sign up for one parent meeting on any one of their child’s checklists. This is another opportunity for us to get to know your family and for you to get to know us!

Families who have completed their applications by the deadlines will be notified of admissions decisions via email the last week of February 2026.

Parents must send Far Brook’s teacher recommendation and transcript request forms through the application portal after their admissions application has been submitted. Applicants for Grade 1 submit one teacher recommendation.  Applicants for Grades 2-7 submit two recommendations and transcripts from their current school.

All applicants visit Far Brook as part of the admissions process.  Applicants for Grades 1, 2 and 3 participate in a group visit.  Applicants for Grades 4 and up spend the day at Far Brook.  All visits can be scheduled through the parent portal once you have submitted your child’s application.

Far Brook administers individual assessments that are approximately 30-60 minutes for applicants to Grades 1 through 7.  Appointments are available through the checklist in your parent portal.

Applicants for Grades 5, 6, and 7 may submit results from the SSAT or CTP IV, if taken within the last year, but this is not a requirement.
