Parent Community Connection (PCC)

Welcome to Our Community

At Far Brook, we believe education is about nurturing the whole child—and the entire family is part of that journey. The Parent Community Connection (PCC) exists to foster a cohesive and joyful parent community in partnership with Far Brook School, deepening connections and a sense of belonging for all families

We do this by:

  • Create welcoming spaces for all families to feel a sense of belonging and connection
  • Celebrate and strengthen school culture, building relationships among parents, faculty, and administration
  • Promote joyful participation, making engagement meaningful, accessible, and fun
  • Offer diverse opportunities for parents to contribute, reflecting Far Brook traditions and each family’s unique skills and availability
  • Facilitate connections within classrooms and across the school community

How to Get Involved

We believe in joyful, rewarding, and energizing parent participation-not obligation. Do what you can, when you can! There are countless ways to be part of the PCC not only through volunteering: attending parent social gatherings, sharing your talents and interests with everyone and just being an engaged member is all you need to be. Below are some of our biggest events that need volunteers during the fall. Check back on this page throughout the season as more volunteer opportunities may be added!
