Additional Information

Marc Schwartz joined the Far Brook community in 2011. He and his wife, Robyn Bennett, live in South Orange and are the parents of Nathan (Class of 2021), Juliet (Class of 2023), and Elizabeth (Class of 2026). Marc graduated in 1998 from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in International Relations, cum laude. He minored in economics and political science and was a four-year member of the men’s Varsity soccer team. He then worked for a year prior to attending the Fordham University School of Law, which he graduated from in 2002.Marc is currently a Principal at Taconic Capital Advisors LLP, an event driven hedge fund that manages approximately $9bn. Prior to Taconic, he spent two years at Morgan Stanley on their distressed/leveraged loan trading desk, analyzing distressed companies and structuring potential financing opportunities for distressed entities. He also spent more than three years at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP as an associate in their Corporate Reorganization and Bankruptcy group.
