Additional Information

Amy Yin joined the Far Brook community in 2011. She and her husband James Ooi live in Short Hills with their children Ben (Class of 2021) and Oscar (Class of 2024). At Far Brook, she serves as Chair of the Development and Audit Committees for the Board of Trustees and is Co-Chair of the Far Brook Fund. A graduate of Wellesley College with an MBA from The Wharton School, Amy began her professional career at Prudential before shifting gears to open a residential interior design studio that donated all profits to charity. The studio was honored as a Legacy Partner by Homefirst/Interfaith Housing & Family Services in Plainfield, NJ. Amy has served as vice chair for Rainbows, Inc. and treasurer and founding Board member of Good Grief, Inc. She is a long-time supporter and volunteer for Imagine NJ, a children's grief support center in Mountainside and Newark, NJ.
