Michael Goldfarb joined Far Brook’s Junior High team in 2020, teaching English to Grades 7 and 8. At Far Brook, Mike has served as a Virtual Learning Advisor, Grades 4-8, and more recently, 8th Grade Lead Advisor, and Junior High Associate Director. Mike is also a member of Far Brook’s Board Diversity Committee. Before Far Brook, Mike spent nine years at St. Paul’s School in Maryland, where he taught and held leadership positions, the most recent being Assistant Head of the Middle School. Mike has taught middle school English to Grades 6-8 at Collington Square Middle School and St. Paul’s. Mike holds a BA in English and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins School of Education, and an Ed.M. in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Mike and his wife, Noemi Schor, live in West Orange with their two young children.
