Hour of Code at Far Brook
Posted 12/12/2018 01:00PM
Far Brook's Hour Of Code spanned two weeks, with different levels and activities of code-thinking for each grade. For example, Nursery 3s explored sequencing and how a series of commands could control Code-A-Pillar's movements, and Third Grade engaged in some of the coding puzzles available on Code.org.
Hour of Code is an international coding event designed to introduce and encourage computer science skills. It is held in December to honor the birthday of computing pioneer, Admiral Grace Murray Hopper. Learn more: https://hourofcode.com/us.
