Diplomat Chess Instructors
Campers of all levels learn and play chess with experienced coaches through group lessons, practice games, and fun activities like puzzles, tournaments, and bughouse. Lessons range from basic rules to advanced strategies, with plenty of outdoor time and movement breaks.

Spy & Detective Academy

Welcome to Spy School (or Detective School)—where young minds train to become the next top secret agents or master detectives! In this thrilling program, campers will learn the skills needed to crack codes, solve mysteries, and uncover hidden clues. Through fun, hands-on activities like creating invisible ink, building and deciphering secret messages, and solving puzzles, campers will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and observation skills. They'll also work on teamwork and communication as they go on "missions" and engage in exciting challenges. Whether it’s gathering clues like a detective or tracking down a mystery like a spy, this camp is perfect for kids who love a good puzzle and the thrill of a secret adventure!

Culinary Arts: Let's Get Cookin'

Woodshop: Mini Soapbox Derby

Grades 2-6

Campers design, build, and race their own mini soapbox cars! In this hands-on program, students learn woodworking skills, problem-solving, and the basics of design and engineering. From planning and measuring to assembling and decorating, each camper creates a unique car they can race at the end of the week. Teamwork, creativity, and a little friendly competition make this an exciting and memorable camp experience for young builders.

Mentor Program

Grades 6-8

The Mentor Program is centered on leadership development, skill-building, and community engagement. Campers have the opportunity to grow as role models for younger campers while gaining important life skills that serve them in middle and high school and beyond. This program blends structured activities with hands-on leadership, encouraging personal reflection, self-expression, and character growth. Throughout the week, students collaborate, share knowledge, and discover their own unique leadership style within our camp community.
