The Junior Art Studio: Pop Art Program invites young artists to explore the vibrant world of Pop Art! Campers will dive into the bold, colorful styles of famous artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, learning how to create art inspired by mass culture, advertisements, and everyday objects. Throughout the program, they’ll experiment with different mediums such as painting, drawing, and collage to create their own unique pop-inspired masterpieces. The focus will be on creative expression, learning key techniques, and understanding the influence of Pop Art on modern culture. Perfect for kids who love to express themselves through art and are excited to experiment with new, exciting styles!

Machine Mayhem using LEGO® Materials: Design your custom LEGO® creation to take on any challenge. Mix and match chassis designs using wheels, treads, or walking legs and then combine these with tools like drills, hammers, and battering rams. You will refine your masterpiece by sparring with friends and overcoming obstacles all while applying real-world engineering and physics concepts to help you bash and crash your way to victory!

Clay Creations: Pottery & Sculpture

Grades 3-6

Unleash your inner artist at Clay Creations: Pottery & Sculpture Camp! This hands-on, week-long camp invites campers to dive into the world of clay, where they’ll learn a variety of techniques to create both functional pottery and imaginative sculptures. Perfect for beginners or budding artists, this camp offers a fun, creative space to experiment, learn, and craft. Campers will explore the fundamentals of working with clay, from shaping and sculpting to decorating and glazing, using air-dry clay and other easy-to-use materials. Throughout the week, they’ll gain skills in handbuilding techniques like pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction, while also getting creative with textures and designs. They’ll have the opportunity to create both practical items like bowls, plates, and mugs, as well as unique, decorative sculptures that express their personal style.
