Buxton School

Buxton School begins as a coeducational country day school in Short Hills NJ in 1928, founded by Ellen Geer Sangster and her husband Danforth Geer, Jr. on twelve and a half acres. In 1947, Buxton moved their “Senior School” – Grades 9-12 – to Williamstown, MA maintaing their Lower School in Short Hills until the next year.
